Netflix's Castlevania Season 2: 10 Things That Must Happen
5. New Secondary Antagonist(s)
Dracula isn't the only villain who was creating chaos in the first season of Castlevania. In fact, despite Drac being the primary antagonist, the true villain of season one is The Bishop.
And all things considered, he was a fairly good one.
Not only was he such a reprehensible leader who tried to force ignorance on his people, so much so that God himself forsook him and allowed him to be eaten by a demon, but he was also indirectly responsible for Dracula's army attacking Wallachia in the first place. Plus, his cold, self-righteous demeanour makes him a bad guy who's easy to hate.
However, thanks to his death towards the end of season one, the role of secondary antagonist has been left vacant going into season two and it's a role that should definitely be filled sooner rather than later.
Our heroes need a tangible foe to go up against before they are able to reach the elusive Dracula, so another bad guy, ideally one just as ruthless as the Bishop, if not more so, could be key in moving the plot of season two along.
