Netflix's Castlevania Season 2: 10 Things That Must Happen

6. ...And Keep The Humor Steady

Castlevania Trevor Belmont
Netflix/Konami

While the violence and disarray are all good fun, they're not the only things that make Netflix's Castlevania so great. In addition to being a very brutal show, it's also a genuinely very funny show.

Trevor's unrelenting snide and sarcastic behavior is a constant source of entertainment throughout the first season, Sypha is also very funny and plays off of Trevor incredibly well, Lisa's contrasting personality to Dracula is good for a few laughs early on, and even Alucard gets a few solid one-liners in.

And while turning up the violence in season two is all well and good, the show's great sense of humor is something that can absolutely not be lost in the shuffle.

However, that's not to say that the comedy should be cranked up in the same way the action should, lest the show risk becoming just a bit too tongue-in cheek. But, it shouldn't be turned down either. Rather, it should absolutely remain a consistent and integral element throughout Castlevania's second season.

Steady as she goes, as it were.
