Netflix's Castlevania Season 2: 10 Things That Must Happen

2. A Truly Epic Climax

This point is sort of an extension of season two doubling down on the violence, however, it's important enough that it warrants getting its own entry.

While the final battle between Alucard and Trevor Belmont in Castlevania's season one finale was good fun, it was also ultimately something of an anticlimax. That's not at all to say that anticlimaxes are inherently bad and, if anything, Castlevania set a standard for creating a satisfying anticlimax.

Moreover, Alucard holding back during his fight with Trevor and revealing that the whole thing was a ploy for him to recruit worthy warriors to help him take down his father falls right in line with the source material.

Plus, before this reveal, we still got to see a fairly awesome fight scene.

However, for the season two finale, which will likely feature the fight against Dracula himself, Castlevania really has to pull out all the stops. It has to be an absolute knock-down-drag-out that pushes every single character involved to their very limit and then some.

If Castlevania's second season is going to be a more brutal one, it's climax should be the best part.
