6. Items Will Play A Big Part In Taking The Best Shots
As you progressed in the original Snap you gained access to items and the trailers released for the new game confirms that they will feature once again.
The N64 version had three items available to players which were unlocked at various points throughout the story, apples, Pester Balls and a Poke Flute. All had various different effects and many Pokemon could only be found once certain items were used. This helped the lifespan with early levels needing to be replayed after items were unlocked to be able to find every Pokemon available.
Food makes a return to the game as an item, with many Pokemon interacting differently when one is thrown nearby. You can now also play a melody that will act similarly to the Poke Flute, as well as having an Orb which you can throw.
This will make Pokemon glow, as well as leading to some changing appearance. Like shiny versions which are popular in the series, it will be another incentive for players to replay levels.
