NFL 2K21: 10 Things Fans Want To See
8. Buttery Smooth Gameplay
When quizzed, most gamers would accept slightly-inferior graphics if it meant their games ran smoothly and didn't chug along with the frame-rate of a Tiger Electronics handheld. 2K21's gameplay must be buttery smooth and play a rapid game of football without seizing up like some WR pulling a hamstring.
A consistent frame-rate is the least someone should expect from a full-price release (which 2K's game will surely be). Woe betide the programmer who, in a moment of madness, codes NFL 2K21 to move with the same pace as other company IPs like WWE 2K20. That, obviously, would be a grave mistake.
It must be zippy.
Fluff in between plays should be kept to a minimum, players should run clear routes that fit playbook-specific picks and everything has to generally cruise along at a nice pace. If 2K dare to try and mix arcade gameplay with choppy sim presentation, they'll pay the price.
