It's the obvious game, but it would be one that Zelda fans have been waiting for since Twilight Princess. The Wii/GameCube edition was a stunning game despite the console limitations, and there have been some spectacular Zelda games in the series, even what's lined up for the Wii U, but the cartoon-style approach doesn't work for many. Wind Waker remains one of the best looking Zelda games ever, with gorgeous cel-shading, but if the NX lives up to expectations with some vast power behind it, Nintendo should be ploughing everything into creating a realistic Zelda game ready for launch. There's a new, open-world Zelda ready to hit the Wii U next year, but is another 'kids-style' game really enough? If the NX is delayed or isn't around as soon as next year, fans would be clamouring to see a Zelda game in a more realistic style. If Nintendo keeps the magic of the gameplay, with top-spec graphics, they could genuinely come up with a contender for the greatest game of all time. Does that sound over the top? Maybe, but that's how good games like Ocarina Of Time were, and if a truly next-gen Zelda ever came to fruition, it could seriously challenge at the top of every list. If Nintendo focus their energy into making a powerful console and prioritise real gamers over satisfying the few who need their brain training or fitness checking, they could have an absolute gem on their hands. Is it going to happen? Or is this just more false hope? What games would make you buy a NX at launch? Let us know in the comments below!
