2. A Trophies/Achievement System

A trophy or achievement system is something that Nintendo consoles have never implemented, but that should really change with the Switch.

Love them or hate them, the trophy system allows for players to have a sense of accomplishment for completing objectives. It's a way of recording progress, proving worth and celebrating how much time you put into a game. It inspires a competitive spirit amongst gamers and its really one of the hidden features that most consoles have caught onto. Nintendo have yet to catch on.

Nintendo games would actually be perfect for this kind of system. All of their games have plenty of secrets, collectables and things to do and each one could be marked by a unique trophy. Nintendo even have their Nintendo points system that could be implemented as a reward for trophies, which would give people even more incentive and make them even more unique.

Trophies and achievements are simply a great way of including more replayability.
