5. Skyrim Will Release At Launch, And Support Mods
The idea of playing Skyrim on the go is one of the most significant prospects teased by the Nintendo Switch's release trailer. Which made it totally baffling, then, when Bethesda stated they were unable to confirm whether or not the game would actually be coming to the Switch.
Many assume this is due to an NDA signed with Nintendo. The notion makes a lot of sense - after all, why would Nintendo go to the bother of showing off the game if it wasn't available on their new hardware? All it would do is anger fans.
The rumour, then, is that Skyrim Remastered will launch with the Switch, but that's not the most exciting part. Supposedly the title will support mods, which is a massive step forward for Nintendo, who have frequently been criticised in the past for their limited support of mod options and functionality.
