Nintendo Switch: 10 Painfully Obvious Ports We're STILL Waiting For
6. Literally ANY Rockstar Title
Although they're associated with a family-friendly PG clean label, Nintendo has been making strides in providing content at all levels of maturity. With them now being more open to M-rated titles, why not put forth some interest in porting over a classic title (or several) from one of gaming's most excellent (and controversial) companies in Rockstar Games?
Considering Switch already carries the Rockstar-published LA Noire, the two companies are already on good terms. So to sweeten the deal and entice potential Switch owners, bringing over a Rockstar-developed title that further illustrates how varied the system's offerings can be. Best of all, the developer has such a long list of excellent games to choose from that no matter what ends up being selected, Switch owners are almost guaranteed to give it a shot.
Adding the darkly satirical, chaotic Grand Theft Auto series to the system similarly to the recent Final Fantasy ports would spark plenty of incentive for on-the-fence gamers to buy in. While Red Dead 2 may not feasible on Switch, putting John Marston's journey towards redemption on a portable system would only further establish the Switch as the juiced-up PSP that players want.
Even the criminally-underrated Max Payne 3 or Bully would be great fits, providing great sandbox misadventures and tense, visceral gameplay. Whatever the game, just get a Rockstar-developed title, please and thank you.
