Nintendo Switch: 10 Painfully Obvious Ports We're STILL Waiting For

5. Pikmin 3

Animal Crossing fans may be the most mistreated Nintendo fanbase at the moment, but the Pikmin fanbase isn't far behind. With the last true installment coming as a Wii-U launch title back in 2013, Switch owners don't have any options if they'd like to introduce themselves to one of Big N's most underrated series.

Nothing a Pikmin 3 port can't fix! The original version of the game has held up excellently and wouldn't require much of anything to be brought back up to 2019 standards.

Pikmin 1 and 2 made the generational jump from GC to Wii in the past, and that required a lot more work, including retooling of gameplay to accommodate motion controls. Far less would be required to bring this RTS gem onto the smaller, more easily movable Switch.

Nintendo attempted to offer something different for the brand with Hey! Pikmin on 3DS, but clearly, fans want the franchise's core strategic gameplay. Pikmin 4 may be a long ways out, but desperation for it will lessen if you give owners a chance to play an underrated title that released on an underplayed console.
