7. No Region-Locking

One of Nintendo's most-despised practices is their tendency to region-lock hardware, making it impossible to import and play titles from other regions.

Finally, however, Nintendo have relented and "revised" their policy, making the Switch region-free so that gamers can play whatever region titles they want.

Considering the nature of the global market and the Internet helping close up our geographical borders these days, it's about damn time Nintendo stopped drawing these arbitrary lines, even if they're incredibly late to the party on this one.
