Nintendo Switch Trailer: 10 Easter Eggs, Secrets & References You Totally Missed
8. Four-Player Local Co-Op With Every System
In the trailer, a group of four players can be seen using two screens in tandem, back to back, to create a sort of makeshift 'LAN party' setup. The cool thing though, is if you look at the controller itself, each pad's centre has four pairs of light-up buttons, somewhat similar to that of the PS3 in terms of how it indicates which player you are.
Whilst two sets of controllers can be paired to two different Switches, this must mean that you could tether all four Joy-Cons to one screen for the sake of a mini Mario Kart tournament.
Sure you'd only have a fraction of the screen to play with, but if you're a 90s gamer anyway, that's nothing more than some good ol' nostalgia.
