Nintendo Switch Update: Every New Feature EXPLAINED
1. New, Dual Screen Switch?
The rumour mill is churning - hackers have been poring over the latest code in the 10.0.0 patch, and what they've found may be quite exciting.
According to Mike Heskin on Twitter (Mike's a tech expect and reverse engineer), the new firmware hides a new section of preliminary support for a new model of Switch, which is codenamed nx-abcd and allegedly supports a second screen, like the 3DS.
It would be easy to dismiss this as nonsense, but the codename marries up with Switch codenames of the past (the original being nx-abca or the Switch Lite being nx-abcd).
It's certainly not without possibility - rumours have been swirling for months about an alleged "Switch Pro" coming at some point in the future. Could this, finally, be the first sort-of reveal that something is cooking at Nintendo HQ?
