1. There Are Still A Lot Of Bugs Even After A Big 'Day One' Patch

The vast majority of reviews for this game have only recently been finalised with outlets wanting to offer up a full commentary of the "retail edition" of the game. A big and essential patch accompanied the No Man's Sky's release, meaning that review copies were already out of date.

Sadly, however, this patch has not meant that No Man's Sky arrived with a flawless launch. A great many bugs are still blighting the game, with players reporting all manner of issues including occasions where they simply dropped through a planet's surface and into bleak nothingness.

Hello Games have admitted being aware of these issues, and are continuing to work on fixes and workarounds in an attempt to fix the game. While this extended commitment is admirable and welcomed, it doesn't change the fact that a game which was delayed for so long in development and was given a day one patch still managed to arrive with as many technical flaws as this.
