No Man's Sky: 15 Insane Moments You Need To See

Who doesn't want their ship to be a TIE Fighter?

No Man S Sky
Hello Games & Disney

No Man's Sky has been out in the wild long enough now for most players to form their own verdict on it, and it's safe to say that reception has been wildly mixed across the board, from those exalting it to be a masterpiece to others dismissing it as a hollow disappointment.

Wherever you stand on the debate, arguably as entertaining as the game itself has been the community, which has wasted no time posting their most ludicrous creature encounters and bizarre mishaps online for our collective terror and amusement.

If nothing else, social media has categorically proven the mind-boggling array of variety players can expect to see while exploring, as well as the fleet of cheeky Easter eggs and abundance of sexually suggestive elements that have been "procedurally generated". And of course, you can't avoid that big news headline that's already turned a lot of players against the game.

Here are 15 insane moments from No Man's Sky you need to see...

15. Somebody Found A TIE Fighter

Hello Games & Reddit

Unsurprisingly, there are a ton of Easter eggs in No Man's Sky that prove not quite everything is procedurally generated. Within mere days, Redditor pridd27 stumbled across this familiar-looking spaceship, which of course bears an extremely striking resemblance to Star Wars' TIE Fighter, if probably looking just different enough to avoid Disney's legal ire.

One thing's for sure, though: if you come across one of these things, you'd better buy it on the spot, and if you can't afford it, grind resources from the planet you're on until you can.

Imagine letting this slip through your fingers and it being your "white whale" as you trawl the galaxy looking for another one.
