No Man's Sky: 15 Insane Moments You Need To See
1. The "No Multiplayer" Controversy
And finally, we come to what is without question the craziest moment from No Man's Sky so far: The fact that, despite Sean Murray claiming that we could in fact see one another if we landed on the same planet, players have since proven this to be incorrect, and almost certainly a lie.
Gamers were outraged when some players live-streamed their attempts to meet up with each other, but the game didn't place them in a lobby or instance together, suggesting No Man's Sky has been released without this feature - despite Murray constantly claiming players could do as such in interviews.
While nobody in their right mind bought the game solely for the faint possibility of multiplayer, it's still an extremely shady move to seemingly intentionally lie about it, and it didn't take long for the memes to start pouring out (as pictured above).
It's still a highly enjoyable game, but the unfulfilled promise is also casting a long shadow over what it gets right.
