No Man's Sky NEXT: 15 Tips & Tricks The Game Doesn't Tell You

2. Free Navigational Data At Many Space Stations

No Mans Sky NEXT
Hello Games

In past versions of the game, there were always these small, easily-avoidable cubes on certain tables that could be interacted with to produce credits. In later updates they were changed to give Nanite Clusters, but now you'll get "Navigational Data".

Where in the past they were located inside bases on planets (and some still are), keep an eye out when scouring space stations, as nearer the railings you'll occasionally spot these cubes, and can retrieve the data by interacting with them.

As a usable item, you input "Navigational Data" into a Signal Booster to then locate downed ships, abandoned buildings or many things in between. It'll guarantee that landing on a new planet at least has one or two things worth picking up, so don't miss these when doing your rounds at the stations themselves.
