3. Chased Through The Corn Field

After the encounter underneath the swirling ceiling, you'll find yourself hurled into the first (and only) action sequence of the demo. As you dash away from your captor and run back out into the grim night, you'll suddenly find yourself hunted by multiple enemies in a massive corn field.

This whole segment is one of the most intense from either game, rivalling the cat and mouse exchange with Chris Walker in the prison of the first game. It's immensely difficult to know just how many people are pursuing you here, and even harder to predict their movements as none of them seem to move on predetermined paths through the night.

Making a break for the barn requires equal parts luck and bravery; if you hope to escape you may have to leg it right past one of your pursuers. The massive size of the open field makes this a risky move, though, so be prepared to have to restart this section a couple of times!
