9. Widowmaker Assassinated An Omnic Leader

So you know how I mentioned Zenyatta was a cool, shamanic robo-monk? Well, turns out that entire movement had a leader, called Tekartha Mondatta. Until Widowmaker shot him.

Just in case you needed anymore incentive to loathe this character, she carries out one of the most heartless acts on display in the Overwatch canon.

Sure, Tracer tries her best to stop the wayward assassin (bless her), but it isn't enough to stop Lacroix from finding her mark.

There's an awful lot more to Widowmaker's backstory than this short would tell you, however. Next time you interact with her in game, try and pay attention to her dialogue. It may be cryptic, but it only seems to hint at a tragic backstory.
