4. Winston Is A Moon Gorilla
Fan of Planet of the Apes but could never quite handle its somber ending? You'll love Overwatch then, which sees a much lighter rendition of the tale get the animation treatment. Sort of.
Winston is one of the biggest faces of the Overwatch brand. He also happens to be the group's leader, and with that comes a fairly important backstory. Born and bred on the Earth's moon along with dozens of other space gorillas, Winston was the only hyper-intelligent one among them.
Aping (ha!) the plot of Planet of the Apes, the rest of the moon gorillas stage an uprising. Not before Winston escapes to earth though, at which point he joins Overwatch.
He later becomes the vanguard of the group's ideals, taking matters into his own hands to recall Overwatch members in spite of the Petras Act forbidding such a move. He's a loveable character all around, and baby winston is just too adorable for words.
