Overwatch 2: 10 Big Reveals From Blizzcon 2019

1. "Zero Hour" Cinematic

An action-packed, surprisingly emotional cinematic, Zero Hour finally brings the story into the present day, kicking off Overwatch's shift from world-building to structured missions, and the canonical introduction of different members of the team.

The film is stellar in its own right; an exciting, well-directed, beautifully animated short that reminds people once more what it was about Overwatch that got them hooked in the first place.

The part where Genji's epic entrance sparks a sudden tide of backup from other heroes answering the call had the same dramatic weight as the climax of Avengers: Endgame, and the music and visuals came together as well as any blockbuster.

Even Overwatch's worst cinematics trump many animated films being released in theatres, and there's no denying that they make the most impact to the widest audience. Every time they drop, they make fans actually believe what they say, no matter how fantastical.
