One of the better snipers on Overwatch's roster, Hanzo is a more formidable long-range character than Widowmaker, purely because his abilities can actually support the rest of the team.

Specific arrows can light up the enemy's position for a short amount of time, providing some much-needed tactical awareness for both attacking or defending assaults.

Likewise the character's ultimate can completely decimate an enemy squad, especially if they're concentrating on capturing a specific point or objective.

Other than that, the strength of his primary attack is enough to take out players from both range and close quarters, while his ability to scatter arrows can be brilliant at damaging a tightly packed team.

He's not perfect, and in the wrong hands can hurt more than he helps, but a good Hanzo can prove that sniping doesn't always have to be a selfish activity.
