Overwatch: Ranking Every Seasonal Event From Worst To Best

4. Winter Wonderland

Right of the bat, Blizzard seemed determined to get players into the Christmas spirit for their Winter Wonderland event. Hence, why every player who signed on to Overwatch during the event was automatically given five free loot boxes.

If there's one way to get brownie points, it's giving out free stuff.

Plus, the event did not feature a single bad or disappointing skin, with each and every one ranging anywhere from good to great. Not only that, but Blizzard also made sure that each skin truly befit the character it was given too, especially in regards to the legendary tier (Torbjörn as Santa Clause being a perfect example.)

Finally, Mei's Snowball Offensive may have been far from the best seasonal game mode, but it at least succeeds in doing something that not only works thematically, but is also an original idea, as opposed to a simple reskin of an existing game mode.

All and all, Winter Wonderland was a big creative success for Blizzard and proved that they know exactly how to capture the spirit of the holiday season in their digital world.
