Overwatch: Ranking Every Seasonal Event From Worst To Best

3. Summer Games

Overwatch's very first seasonal event (as well as the first to get a second go-round), Summer Games, is also the one that set the standard for how great and fun these events could be.

The Olympics theme was taken full advantage of, as it featured a plethora of new skins that represented the playable characters' various places of origin, as well as what sort of sport their unique skill sets best suit them for, such as Tracer as a track runner or Zarya as a weightlifter.

Ultimately, however, the crème de la crème of Overwatch's Summer Games was Lúcioball. It had a bit of a learning curve about it, especially for those who didn't typically play as Lúcio, but once you got the hang of it, it was both insanely fun and insanely addicting. Sure, it eventually became unplayable thanks to rampant glitch exploiting tarnishing the spirit of the game, but here again, that's less on Blizzard and more on their playerbase.

All and all, Summer Games felt fresh, novel, and got fans excited for what events were to come. And since then, Overwatch has truly come full circle.
