Hinted at already in other parts of the game is the bias system that Konami every year swear that they have removed or that never existed. Nobody who actually plays the game believes this for one second. Again, its something that happens infrequently but its something that when it's felt (rather than seen), it drags players out of the immersion. Players will always understand that the other team may get a boost from a crunching tackle, they may have a close chance from a mistake or hit the bar... But there is no excuse for a team to one minute be playing like Arsenal in the invincible year to playing like Arsenal now and for nothing to work that happened without a hitch just moments before. It feels scripted, as if no matter how good the player is or how good the team the player controls is, the opposition WILL score. Passes no longer reach the right people; the opposition are first to the second ball and everything drops too easily to them. They might claim it's been dealt with, but it really doesn't feel like it.
What's to tell people?
I am a middle aged Yorkshireman obsessed with Bad Religion, The Simpsons, movies and anything to do with gaming. I love everything to do with Final Fantasy, Metal Gear and will hold a discussion with anyone about anything in games.
