1. Final Pass
KonamiThe final part of the trifecta of major gameplay-based overhauls Konami will be making with PES 2015, the options available to a player wanting to deliver that incisive pass which can split an oppositions defence in two have been radically expanded. As with the other gameplay additions PES 2015 will be implementing, the passing mechanics have been improved to put more ownness on the person behind the control; consistent with Konamis The Pitch is Ours motto. The passing system will now allow for the player to attempt crafty little knock-ons or searing low passes all utilising the new ball physics engine in an attempt to create a goal-scoring opportunity. For the first time the player will feel like they have the freedom to be a playmaker to rival the Iniestas and Xavis of the world. The announcement of the series vastly improved passing is arguably the area in which Konami has made the most headway on EA during this pre-release period. Though what EA have showed us of FIFA 15 looks impressive, they have made very little mention of how they would be improving the core gameplay to make the latest instalment a more playable package than FIFA 14. In particular fans were hoping that EA would address the games frustratingly inaccurate, temperamental passing system. In contrast, Konami have put an enthasis on explaining how PES 2015s gameplay will be vastly improved AS WELL AS its graphics.
