The most important position on the field in PES 2015 is a holding midfielder. One deep sitting play-maker can link the whole team and keeps everything ticking over when on or off the ball. This is especially important when starting a master league career or setting up your myClub squad. A tall goalkeeper is a must, one strong centre half to complement a sweeper style partner and two wide players who have a bit of pace will let you challenge nearly any team. Add a decent all around striker who can win a header as easily as control a finely pinged ball to feet and the goals will rack up. Basically, find a formation that suits and simply upgrade each position one at a time starting with the spine of the team. Avoid filling your team with pure speed, unless you want to get slaughtered.
