9. Agent
Agent is a game that's been kicking around Rockstar's offices for years; it was first officially announced by the company in 2009 but there had been murmurs for several years previous. Set during the Cold War era, Agent is said to be an espionage thriller title, a far cry away from the games Rockstar usually make, though reportedly something they had been wanting to work on for years. The last word on the game was almost two years ago at Take Two's fiscal earnings call, where they stated that it was still in development, yet given how the current era of gaming has long been winding down, would it not seem prudent to repurpose the game as Rockstar's first big next-gen title? The fact that things have been so quiet in the last two years only makes it more likely that something big is going down; how awesome would it be to hear that despite GTA V arriving soon, Rockstar already has their next game half-finished and ready to release sometime in 2014?
