4. PS Vita 2
Could Sony think the future of their gaming ventures lay in the realm of the handheld console? With big exclusives for the PS Vita such as Wipeout 2048 and Uncharted: Golden Abyss (the first portable instalment of the Uncharted franchise) surely the Vita is a strength Sony would want to develop further? Unfortunately, despite the strength of the handheld on paper, the figures just havent stacked up. As a result, reports
Gamasutra, sales estimates for the end of this fiscal year up until March 31st, for the PSP and PS Vita, have been cut from 16 million to just 7 million. Nevertheless, a second Vita with a stronger focus on support for developers producing exclusive and well-made games could work wonders for Sony, and could plausibly be part of their future plan for PlayStation.
