1. A Huge Wallet-Busting Price
The most disappointing announcement Sony could make this week is that the PlayStation 4 is going to cost a wallet-busting, poverty-inducing amount of cash, and sadly, there's more of an air of inevitability about that. The PlayStation 3 went on sale for $599.99 (£386) for the 60GB model and $499.99 (£322) for the 20GB model upon release in 2006, and gamers are almost guaranteed to be parting with similarly hefty chunks of change if they want to get their hands on the PS4, too. The alternative is waiting a year or so for the console to drop in retail value, but really, who has the patience for that? Especially when Paul over the road is playing MotorStorm 4 all night. All gamers can really hope for right now is that the PlayStation 4 will be slightly more affordable than its predecessor, but don't hold your breath on that one.
We expect Sony to reveal the price, specification details and aesthetics for the PS4 this Wednesday - what announcements are you hoping Sony will make? Let us know in the comment section below.
