PlayStation 4: 5 Announcements We'd Love Sony To Make (And 4 That Would Be Terrible)

5. The Return Of Old School Titles

Crash One of the biggest things fans are looking forward to ahead of the announcement of the PlayStation 4 is the reveal of the launch titles, I.e what games they will be playing upon release. One of the biggest launch titles to have been released on the PlayStation 3 was MotorStorm, which adequately demonstrated just how powerful the console was at the time. Though we are excited about seeing what new games we will be able to sink our teeth into on the next generation of platforms, we also want to see the return of some old school titles that haven't seen the light of day for a while, like the Crash Bandicoot series. Crash Bandicoot was initially an exclusive title on the PlayStation and spanned seven titles, along with three rather unfortunate racing games which subsequently killed the series by taking a detour from a concept that worked so well originally. There are currently no plans for another game in the series, though Activision CEO Eric Hirshberg has stated in the past that he€™d "love to see a HD version of the first four games, or even a full blown reboot". Other games we'd like to see revived on the PlayStation 4: Twisted Metal, Road Rash, Legacy of Kain, Club Football, State of Emergency.
