2. How Much Does It Cost?
Super-secretive Sony also failed to deal with the subject of price in their "big reveal" of the PlayStation 4. They yanked our chains and strung us along with demonstrations and trailers of the new games we'd be able to get our hands on, then made absolutely no reference to price, either for the DualShock 4 controller, the games themselves or the actual console, which we will get too in a moment. One of the main things fans wanted to hear last night was how hard the new console would be hitting their wallets. There has been speculation that it could only
cost £310 in Europe, which is surprisingly cheap, but again, Sony made no reference what so ever to this claim. Perhaps because they're all too aware of Microsoft lurking in the dark, dark shadows with their Xbox 720 tucked under one arm, and fear they will dastardly attempt to under-cut them in price; or maybe because they simply don't know yet, either way, we wanted to know, and we were let down. We simply feel that more questions regarding the console were left unanswered than the ones that were actually addressed.
