PlayStation 4: 5 Ways To Regain Fans' Excitement

3. Revive "Old School Games"

Crash The reveal of the PS4 launch titles was a relative disappointment and left fans feeling underwhelmed. The only title fans are really looking forward too is Ubisoft's "Watch_Dogs", and although we are excited about seeing sinking our teeth into on the next generation version of the game, we feel as though we need something else. We want to see the return of some old school titles that haven€™t seen the light of day for a while, like the Crash Bandicoot series. Crash Bandicoot was initially an exclusive title on the PlayStation and spanned seven titles, along with three rather unfortunate racing games which subsequently killed the series by taking a detour from a concept that worked so well originally. There are currently no plans for another game in the series, though Activision CEO Eric Hirshberg has stated in the past that he€™d €œlove to see a HD version of the first four games, or even a full blown reboot€. The return of Crash would give old school fans a blast of nostalgia and something to look forward too on the new console.
