4. Deep Down

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pdk3DL5p7rk Capcom's Yoshinori Ono showed up to unveil the company's new IP, a dungeon crawler called Deep Down, and though it unquestionably has a resemblance to games such as Dark Souls and Capcom's own Dragon's Dogma, the superb visual style was enough to distinguish it from these great titles. Though it's difficult to be sure of what was a rendering and what was actual gameplay - the icon in the bottom left corner wasn't too convincing - the detail of the dungeon was stellar, and perhaps the most impressive element was the fire. It's a notoriously difficult element to render - far moreso than water - yet one that developers might finally be able to master on the PS4.
