Playstation Now: 15 Titles We're Instantly Going To Revisit

10. Gran Turismo (PSOne, PS2, PS3)

Gran Turismo was the original, and in my opinion the best, driving simulator ever made. Now with 6 incarnations spanning all three Sony systems, no wonder it has become a powerhouse in the racing simulator market. The first game was released in 1998 by Polyphony Digital and featured 140 cars on 11 different circuits, while the latest version - released at the end of 2013 - features 1200 cars on 40 different circuits. Much has changed over the 15 years the series has been going. GT1 was the highest selling game on the PSOne, with GT2 3rd on the list. GT3 and GT4 were only beaten to the top spot by Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas on the PS2, while on the PS3 GT5 has only been pipped to the top spot by the hugely loved Grand Theft Auto V. Gran Turismo has always been, for me, the best driving game. It was the first one to really test each of the consoles to their potential in graphics, and how their associated controllers operated under the pressures of a race.
