9. Hogs Of War (PSOne)

Where do we start with Hogs of War? Well, you control a small phalanx of military pigs with various weapons and the idea is to destroy the other team of pigs by any means necessary. Similar play style to Worms, except with pigs... and a 3D environment. The game was developed by Infograms in 2000 and featured the vocal talents of British comedian Rik Mayall, who narrated the game. And Rik does an amazing job of bringing the cut scenes to life in the World War II-esque battle for pig supremacy. The single-player is challenging and near-on impossible if you make the wrong choices throughout the game, which adds to the suspense in the final mission. The multiplayer swaps your friends in over the sometimes clumsy AI pigs, which adds a real aspect to proceedings. If you liked Worms (in any incarnation), then you are bound to like Hogs of War, as it follows the same turn based scheme of war where you can only retaliate when it's your go. Speaking of which...
