Pokémon GO has become such a huge craze that Nintendo perhaps wasn't quite prepared for how it could be used to exploit people and even lead to crimes.

That's exactly what's been happening in America, as there have been several robberies by people using Pokémon GO as a trap to lure people to isolated locations (as we now know, people are drawn to Pokémon like moths to flame).

In Missouri, officers tracked down four teenagers aged 16-18 in a black BMW, who were charged with first-degree robbery. The police believe they used Pokémon GO to create beacons at PokéStops, encouraging players to stock up on supplies there. When unwitting players arrived at the PokéStop, they'd be duly robbed.

Police suspect the robbers did the same thing at locations in St Louis and St Charles.

Shameful. If these guys abided by the Pokémon code of conduct then they should've had Pokemon Battles with their victims instead, with the winner getting all the spoils.
