4. The Westboro Baptist Church Is A Pokémon Gym

Anything taking place in or around the homophobic Westboro Baptist Church is bound to cause some controversy. So when the place was labelled as a Pokémon Gym, things heated up pretty quickly.

One witty Pokémon GO player took over the gym for Team Instinct, and provocatively left a Clefairy (presumably the emphasis should be on the 'fairy') called Loveislove guarding it. The Westboro Baptist Church responded in equally incendiary fashion, calling the Pokemon a "sodomite", and posting a tweet depicting a Jigglypuff (kind of ironic if you're familiar with your derogatory homophobic slurs) as working for the church - classy. They also posted a whole bunch of other inscrutable ramblings about wrath, repentance, and other classic 'WBC' mumbo jumbo.

Seeing how the Church despises having a pro-LGBT Clefairy as its guardian, we should make every concerted effort to keep it there.
