Pokémon: Every Gen 1 Game Ranked

If you go straight from Pokémon Play It! to Pokémon Play It! Version 2 and are amazed then you have been tricked. This is still an awful digital card game, it's just miles better than the original. If the original was a 1/10 this is a 3/10, it's still awful.

There is more to it though at least.

Pokémon Play It! Version 2 is still designed primarily to teach you how to play the TCG but this time it has actual challenges, more than four decks, your opponent Julie (she returns) will now actually use a variety of cards, you can actually play with full decks so that's nice, and the game does a better job at actually teaching you how to play.

There's also a quiz where you can earn certificates. Cool, I guess.

There's also kind of a deck builder. You can't use a custom deck in-game because that would be way too much fun but you can learn what goes into one and create an in-game list of what cards you'll need to try and seek out outside of the game to make your perfect real-life deck. So yeah, this mode has the same capabilities as a pen and paper.
