Pokémon GO: 10 Reasons To Start Playing Again
5. Eggs Are Just Nicer Now
Rejoice my children, for the terror of walking miles for yet another Rattata terror has passed.
First eggs had a facelift and are now coloured based on variety, so you actually know what you have when the random drops occur.
Secondly, the hatch list has been completely revamped and
streamlined, more so with the second generation's introduction. 2K eggs were the bane of everyone’s life; littered with Pokemon
you would have caught ten of in the time it took to hatch it, but also the
resting place of the coveted Starter Pokemon and thus, every now and then,
worth the heartbreak.
The common Pokemon have been abolished from the egg system and replaced with some of the less prized specimens from the 5K range, who in turn have inherited certain members of the 10K family.
Baby Pokemon have usurped any and all adult counterparts and can only actually be found in these eggs, which is quite nice really. While the mightiest of Pokemon still lurk in the largest eggs - save for a few duds such as Sudowoodo and Skarmory - the system is more rewarding than it was punishing previously, and anyone who wants to complain about that can go straight back to Dark Souls.
