5. For The Love Of God, Look Up The Mythical Discovery Quests

It took a good long time, but Pokemon GO finally has something of a "story mode", or series of meaningful quests with one hell of a payoff.

Named "Mythical Discovery", it's basically how you unlock a fight against none-other than Mew, and you can tap the binoculars icon to view what's needed to advance across an eight step process.

I implore you to read up on what's to come though, because some of these - like "Evolve a Magikarp" or "Catch a Ditto" - are NOT retroactive, meaning if it's taken you the better part of a year to save up 400 candies and you just got a Gyarados... well, you'll have to do it all again.

Things like "Obtain a Gold Kanto Medal" are fine because they can literally only be done once, but the rest?

Just be careful you don't waste a LOT of time.
