7. One Specific Trick To Use With A Lucky Egg

As mentioned, Lucky Eggs will double your XP take, no matter what.

Usually XP is most commonly given from taking gyms, participating in raids, capturing pokemon and discovering Pokestops, but since the new friendship update, there's a much more lucrative way to mine this stuff out:

Friendship levels.

Just activate your Lucky Egg before visiting the Friends screen to exchange or accept gifts.

Because Pokemon GO "upgrades" or "checks" your friendship level on this screen and not before/when the gift might have actually been sent, the Egg can help turn that 10,000 XP bonus of getting a new level, into a whopping 20,000 XP.

Niantic will likely patch or minimise this going forward, so make the most of it while you can.
