Pokémon GO: 7 Sinnoh Pokémon We Can’t Wait To Catch
4. Lucario
Lucario is a hugely powerful Pokémon, and should please both elite and casual players alike. Elites will be happy to see a new challenger to the meta rise, while casuals will just want a kung fu dog on their team.
Lucario’s pre-evolution Riolu was relatively easy to obtain in Diamond, Pearl and Platinum, but it remains to be seen how simple this will be in Pokemon Go. After all, the fairly common Mareep was monstrously rare until its community day.
Lucario deserves some extra love too. There have been some whacky designs through the years but Lucario has that classic feel. And let’s not forget, Gen I served up sentient eggs and a terrifying clown mime. Lucario, a bit like Mimyku from the latest release, seems like it would have been a household name had it been found in Kanto.
Without wanting to start a war on Genwunners, there are so many wonderful Pokémon out there right now who just never had the chance to capture the public’s heart. Hopefully the introduction of Sinnoh Pokémon into Pokémon Go can right that terrible wrong once and for all.
