Pokémon: Ranking Every Gen 2 Video Game

12. Pokémon: Catch The Numbers!

Definitely the most obscure game on this list, Pokémon: Catch the Numbers! is a Japanese-only game for the Sega Pico. The Sega Pico is a portable device made for literal infants. It's a fine enough device for toddlers but isn't something you'll be having many hardcore gaming sessions on.

Pokémon: Catch the Numbers! is a mini-game compilation that is themed around maths. The maths theming makes sense as this is an educational game.

Mini-games include pressing the number that Misty tells you to, going through a maze, catching the number of Pokémon that you're told to, jumping on music notes as Jigglypuff, and putting the correct key into the correct gate.

What stops this from being lower on the list is the vast number of mini-games that make this actually quite a substantial experience, the clear care that went into the game with the anime voice actors even returning, and the half-decent artwork present throughout the title.

Still, you don't need to go through the hassle of either buying this from Japan or emulating it. Pokémon: Catch The Numbers! is not worth it.
