Pokémon: Ranking The Starters Of All 6 Generations From Worst To Best
8. Treecko
Despite looking a bit like an early, discarded draft of the much slicker Snivy from generation five, Treecko is definitely superior to its friend from Unova. At every stage of its evolution, Treecko remains just a smidge stronger than Snivy or its relative form.
It also features a much better moveset, and a stat breakdown that's perfectly weighted around the type of quick assault that these attacks are geared toward. It's able to be much quicker than a Snivy or its evolutions, sacrificing small amounts in defensive stats to do so.
Admittedly Grovyle may be the only member of the evolutionary line that looks particularly cool, but Sceptile does have one of the very best Mega Evolution designs to have hit the games so far. That's worth something, right?
