Pokemon Sun And Moon: 10 Things Fans Demand

2. More Post-Credits Playthrough Features

Pokemon Delta Episode
Nintendo

Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire gave players an entire new story to work through after they'd beaten the Elite Four, but after that there was very little to do bar capturing the old starters and whiling away the hours at the Battle Resort. Sun and Moon needs to get the game back to the idea of complete replayability.

Whether it's because a game's always better off when a player feels the world it's set in moving around them, or simply because everyone loves a challenge every now and then, Pokemon needs to let you go back through all the Gym Leaders at the end of the game. Up their levels, give them new Pokemon, chuck them a Mega Stone, whatever, just give the impression that they've been busy since you battled them. Same goes for the bulk of the trainers.

The aforementioned property feature would really help with this, as would the number of secret areas, but whatever Nintendo decide to do it's important that the benefits of it aren't merely cosmetic. Players need to be suitably incentivised to keep investing their time.
