3. Your Trainer's Watch Will Link To Pokémon Go Plus Devices

We already know that some sort of peripheral support will be available in the game thanks to Tomy International's Z-Ring item, but at this point it appears the Z-Ring will be little more than a flashy lookalike gimmick with no actual input into gameplay.

However, another lookalike item has been noted by some commentators, and this one could certainly be more useful. Comparisons between the shape and appearance of the watches worn by the new trainers in promotional art and the Pokémon Go Plus accessory have been made, with the suggested conclusion being that there'll be some crossover functionality.

It may be a tenuous link at this stage, but we can all dream can't we? A crossover with the Pokémon Go Plus accessory could see players able to capture exclusive monsters on the mobile app and transfer them to their Sun & Moon game via QR codes or other net connections.

It's certainly within the realms of the hardware's capabilities, so who knows what could happen?
