4. Sun & Moon Are Actually Pokémon Z As Well

Given that the existence of Zygarde was very common knowledge for a long time, the absence of a third game in generation six - Pokémon Z - was a bit of a mystery. Many even believed that this was the game being announced before the Sun & Moon trailers arrived, but what if that actually had proved to be the case?

It sounds crazy, but there are a lot of rumours circulating the net that offer theories on how Sun & Moon will actually be a version of Pokémon Z.

At the centre of all of this commotion? Why it's Zygarde, of course! With the new information about this powerful Pokémon's different forms and cores, there are already theories linking it to the legendary mascots for X, Y, Sun & Moon.

Looking at Zygarde's chest area in the image above shows a slim panel featuring the primary colours for all of these legendary Pokémon, and each is said to correspond to a core that helps Zygarde reach this most powerful form.

If the theories are true, Zygarde's involvement in the game will link these four legendaries - and by extension the four games - to culminate in an event or story that would've constituted Pokémon Z if employed on its own!
