Pokémon Sword And Shield Expansion Packs: 10 Features Fans Demand

Let's Go took the first steps with the customizations for Pikachu and Eevee. Now it's time for Sword and Shield to fully realize this.

The argument against adding accessories for Pokémon is how different each one is and that it would be hard to work into for all of them. Fair enough. This is a feature where usage of only a limited set of Pokémon is understandable.

A jacket might not work for Diglett, but how cool would it be to throw a leather jacket on Gallade? Or a bowtie on Geodude? And what about cute little mittens for Ditto?

Sword and Shield deserve praise for the trainer customizations, but it's time for accessories to be a reality for Pokémon. Outside of aesthetic appeal, there's also the idea of accessories as equipment too. Having a Pokémon be able to hold one item has worked well enough, but what about holding a shield that raises defense slightly or a winter jacket that prevents damage from hail? The stat changes or effects don't have to major, but it's time for Pokémon to evolve from just one held item.
