The Pokémon series provides a feature known as Mystery Gift, these events allow special Pokémon to be downloaded during a limited time frame. These unique Pokémon are usually rare themselves, have powerful abilities, or cannot be obtained by any other means. As of right now, generation three fire starter Torchic is available for download. This potentially means all three types (fire, water, grass) can be obtained during a single play through. Torchic also comes with its own mega stone for evolution! What a bargain! This special little guy also has a speed boosting ability, making him a unique threat. So if you like symmetry with your starters, make sure you pick up Torchic and keep an eye on future Mystery Gifts.
